Absolutely not! Just come to the practices you'll learn a lot!
NewsThis year we have seen a huge increase in the number of teams being entered at competitions, the standard is very high and the cost of ponies, in certain instances, is approaching BSJA levels. Could this be because mounted games has been selected as a demonstration event for the 2012 Olympics? We start practising, inside, very gently, in January, younger members often begin on the lead rein. It is amazing how quickly their confidence grows and how quickly the ponies learn what to do. Currently we are short of two members for our junior team and it would be nice to have a novice team or a 'B' team to put forward. So be encouraged to give Prince Philip Cup a try!
